HELICOPTER FILMING WITH THE
ULTRA LONG CANON 50-1000mm LENS

Musicians Bliss n Esso perched themselves high above Sydney when they launched a new single on the ABC-TV music show ‘The Sound’. AFA’s aerial DP Peter Beeh used the Canon 50-1000mm PL lens to contribute a fast paced and dramatic sequence of helicopter aerials.

Thanks to the supreme stability of the Shotover F1, Peter was able to shoot without sealing the lens behind protective glass. This ensured uncompromised back-lit shots in the late afternoon sun: the image holding stable at 1000mm while still moving at over 150km/h.
